PLEASE HELP US!
Wednesday the 18th December 2002 five people went missing while traveling by small pumpboat for a snorkeling trip from San Juan - Siquijor to Apo Island. They never arrived and till now nothing and nobody has been found.
The five persons are two Filipino fishermen and three Dutch tourists (male):
It is presumed that the boat has either been damaged or has experienced mechanical failure due to weather conditions. The current would have taken them in the direction of Sulu Sea towards the coastline of Sabah, around the city of Sandakan (Malaysia)..
The families of the 3 Dutch tourists are offering a reward of USD 10.000 to anyone who can give information that will lead to the recovery of the Dutch tourists. The payment of the reward is arranged by the Royal Dutch Embassy.
Reward USD 10.000
The small pumpboat, called Sto Ni?o, is about 5 to 6 mt long, yellow with green lines. The boat has bamboo outriggers.
